Well done for getting as far as you have. With the weather as it is in the UK, we think you can attract some quality tourists to Taxiland. “Superb package: good communications, fantastic sunshine, security a priority, friendly people!” We hope the generosity of others continues and that your supplies hold out. Good luck on the next leg.
All the best

What an INCREDIBLE adventure. I love waking each morning and reading your next installment. Hope your spirits are still holding up. I just howled with laughter when reading that you are blaring-out The Great Escape. Bet you can’t wait for a hot shower and some big fluffy towels, not to mention a fillet steak and double fries. Dominic passed his driving test this afternoon – help! Keep the updates coming. All love – Dob xx

Jimmy; Vicki sent your email to me at our summer home so this is the first view of your summer. As we discussed last spring, there’s no way to be prepared but it doesn’t matter; it’s just a great adventure. So enjoy. Si

Ha ha, Ed, your mummy kindly gave me Kazakh vodka as a thank you – that was so sweet of her, you didn’t have to…but was very nice of all of you. Am very touched.. How did she manage to find Kazakh vodka in London at all?!! )))
Oh, by the way, there was an article about you in Evening Standard yesterday! Was hilarious! But at the same time the way they quoted some of the things you said sounded different in a serious newspaper than here on your blog. I mean you joking about the Russians didn’t look like a banter/jokes in Evening Standard, particularly those words about “testing the degree of Russian sanity” seemed to have a very different connotation in the view of current political events..
